Farmington Valley Rowing Association!

The Farmington Valley Rowing Club provides access to the sport of rowing to men and women of all ages and all abilities in North Central Connecticut. FVRA offers open sweep rowing sessions to its members to enjoy the Farmington River, while benefiting from a full-body, low-impact workout. As an organization, we value teamwork and find joy in rowing for exercise and competition. We strive to be positive members of the local community.

Save the Date - Thursday, July 2, 2009

FVRA is hosting a Flower Bridge Social on Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. (rain or shine). The event is for members, spouses, significant others, and anyone interested in joining the club. There will be a Potluck Dinner so please bring a dish to share.

Novice Clinics

This year's adult novice clinics start on June 2, July 7 and July 28. Clinics run for three weeks from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday evenings with a final session on the last Saturday.

First Clinic: June 2 - 20
Practices are June 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th, 16th, and 18th
Open row with more experienced rowers on Saturday, June 20th

Second Clinic: July 7 - 25
Practices are July 7th, 9th, 14th, 16th, 21st, and 23rd
Open row with more experienced rowers on Saturday, July 25th.

Third Clinic: July 28 - August 15
Practices are July 28th, 30th, August 4th, 6th, 11th, 13th
Open row with more experienced rowers on Saturday, August 15th.
