Directions to the Boathouse

FVRA rows out of the Paine Boathouse in Simsbury, CT.

The boathouse is adjacent to the Drake Hill Bridge.

From Route 10:

     •   Proceed to Simsbury and turn east onto Drake Hill Road.

     •   Take the first left turn after you pass the Iron Horse Boulevard intersection.

     •   Take the next right and the boathouse is located at the end of the road, under the trees.


Directions to the Apple Barn

From the boathouse:

     •  take a left out of the driveway onto Drake Hill Rd

     •  take a left/south onto route 10/Hopmeadow

     •  take the next immediate right at the light onto West St-Farms Village Rd/Rt 309

     •  continue on 309 for about 2 1/4 miles, passing Simsbury High School

     •  at a 4 way intersection & traffic light turn right onto Old Farms Rd

     •  continue until for about 1 mile

     •  Apple Barn is on the right: a while one story building with an uphill driveway

     •  you have gone too far if you pass Simsbury Recreational Complex (Pool, tennis, golf, etc)
