Participation Requirements

All participants joining a program for more than 3 days must have a USRowing Learn to Row or Basic Membership and sign a USRowing waiver which includes an additional fee of $10 or $25 depending on the membership level you choose (If your program is 3 days or less – click here to print a waiver to bring to your program) 

Your USRowing membership allows you to be covered under our USRowing Organizational Membership insurance for all FVRA programs you participate in during the year. “USRowing is a nonprofit membership organization recognized by the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee as the national governing body for the sport of rowing in the United States.”

If you are already a USRowing Member,

1. Under Individuals click the “Login” button
2. Login to sign your waiver or verify it has already been signed
3. Click here for additional information

NOTE: If resetting your password you can only use letters and numbers – NO characters. The registration field does not display a warning message if you include characters but will not let you login.

If you are not a USRowing Member,

1. Under Individual click the “Register” button
2. Follow the steps below to complete the form and sign up for a USRowing Membership
   1. Under “Club or Team Name” enter “Farmington Valley Rowing Association” and choose us from the list – we are USR Member # 944
   2. You will then be asked for a club code to add yourself to our roster. FVRA’s Club Code is R63XE
   3. The form searches the system to see if an account for you already exists – if it does not you will continue the registration process to sign up for your membership but click “Login” instead.
   4. To join as a new member choose your membership level,
      • Learn to Row: $10 – “This membership offers 60 days of insurance coverage for brand-new rowers at organizations insured through USRowing’s program to participate in practice, camps, and clinics.”
      • Basic: $25 – “Start your experience with the ability to participate at USRowing sanctioned regattas, develop as a coach or athlete, and access USRowing’s liability coverage”
      • NOTE: A USRowing Membership is required when signing a USRowing waiver and costs $10-$25 depending on the membership level you choose. A “Supporter” membership does NOT cover you under our USRowing organizational membership. Please pick Learn to Row or Basic.

The membership fee is not collected by FVRA but goes to USRowing.
